CONTENT ANALYSES OF ENGLISH TEXTBOOKS OF SECONDARY EDUCATION
Abstract
The research study has been done in the field of Education Management in Pakistan, by applying qualitative approach to analyze the contents of English Textbooks of Grade 9th and 10 from Sindh and Baluchistan. The focus of the study is reviewing Textbooks of the curriculum with the reference to the constitution of Pakistan and the current Education Policy. The study has analyzed the contribution of textbooks in building peace, tolerance and religious harmony in the current scenario of Pakistan. In the background of the findings of the research, the study has also been done to review the implementation of revised Education policy of 2009, which suggested making changes in the curriculum textbooks. The study has analyzed the different contents and the observations have been concluded to recommend for further research in developing curriculum.
