Drawing on recent data and case studies, the paper highlights the challenges in sustaining tourism amid perceived threats. A total of 31 questionnaires were filled through snowball technique. The results shows negative relationship between tourism development and conflict in the region. The findings of the study recommend infrastructure development, bridging trust building among local and foreign tourists and a close liaison among line departments with local community and investors for joint and constructive action in the tourism industry.
