Some of the factors considered include global power balance, regional impacts, and domestic political concerns. The study offers valuable information about the consequences of policy making, diplomacy, and the negotiation process, thereby making an input to an informed policy making, and shaping the future of the foreign policy in Pakistan. The results of the study contribute to understanding the specifics related to the course of autonomous foreign policy and give clues about the outcomes of the Pakistani efforts concerning its role in the world arena. The current study may be valuable to add to the policy-making discussions and contribute to the formation of the more knowledge-based strategy to build the future foreign policy orientation of Pakistan.
